Winning business links to major award

Link2 Group has won the Supreme Business Excellence Award at last night’s Westpac Auckland Business Awards 2018 - South-East region.

Link2 Group is made up of two companies, Link2 Services that provides contract logistics services and Link2 Solutions - an in-house warehousing facility.  CEO Rahul Sirigiri says the award is a platform for recognition and exposure in the industry.

“It also gives you understanding of your own business, where we are, what we are and what others think of you. We are sure we will grow more from this.”

Link2 Group also won the Employer of the Year category making it eligible for the supreme award.

Other individual category winners include playground equipment business Park Supplies Company, software business EDIStech Ltd, property law business Conveyancing Shop Lawyers, online butchery The Meat Box Ltd, computer repair business Technofix Ltd as well as Ceracell Beekeeping Supplies Ltd.

Auckland Business Chamber CEO Michael Barnett congratulates the businesses on the success they have achieved.

“The winners - and all of the entrants - are businesses that are not only brave enough to discover what they are doing well through the process of entering the awards, but also in allowing others to judge them and learn from them. They are to be celebrated.”

Auckland Council’s economic growth agency – Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development (ATEED) - partners with the Auckland Business Chamber to present the awards.

ATEED Chief Executive, Nick Hill, congratulates those businesses who have climbed to the top of their fields and been recognised for their business acumen, innovation and sheer determination.

“Our goal is to create ‘quality jobs for all Aucklanders’ and the south east is experiencing significant growth, providing a strong mix of job opportunities with construction and manufacturing leading the charge.”

Jeff Driscoll, Westpac Area Commercial Manager, Auckland, says the Westpac Business Excellence Awards are about taking time out to recognise the smartest, savviest and strongest businesses in the Auckland community.

“It’s been fantastic to see the high calibre of entries this year. Auckland is the biggest cog in New Zealand’s economy and fundamentally important to our global success.”

The Westpac Auckland Business Awards, hosted by Auckland Business Chamber with the support of ATEED, offer businesses a chance to be rewarded for their excellence, to share their stories and to celebrate their successes.
