“Pleasure in the job puts perfection in the work.” – Aristotle
Kieran began training salespeople in New Zealand in the mid 90’s. Since then, in New Zealand, the US and the UK, Kieran has trained lawyers, accountants, engineers, public sector workers, corporate employees and entrepreneurs.
Kieran’s workshops draw on his extensive experience in sales and marketing, working in Europe, North America and Australasia across multiple industries.
Moving country ten times, Kieran developed an enviable job hunting skillset that enabled him to land desirable roles with corporations as diverse as Japan’s Nissan, Switzerland’s Novartis and Germany’s Heraeus Kulzer.
Using these skills, Kieran became a career coach for a multinational talent solutions consultancy. He continues career management coaching and mentoring of people ranging from students through to executives in career management.
Utilising the same skillset allowed him to be a successful political candidate, a veteran of national speaking tours in three countries and the author of PersonaPR: The End of the Cold Call Era of which Brian Tracy (www.briantracy.com) says “This fast-moving enjoyable book will show any entrepreneur or salesperson how to get more customers, make more sales, and be more successful than ever before” and Dave Liniger, Co-Founder and Chairman of Re/Max (www.remax.com) says “An excellent guide for individuals to develop and maintain a no-nonsense approach to personal branding.” Kieran has been writing and speaking on personal branding since 2001.
In 2009 British business guru Richard Denny(“The UK’s Guru of Sales” – The Telegraph) appointed Kieran Managing Director of his UK-based soft skills training consultancy.
While with the New Zealand Institute of Management from 2012-2015 Kieran coached and trained salespeople, managers and employees from many major organisations including the ANZ, Auckland Council, Deloitte, DIA, Gallagher, H-P, IAG, IRD, Mediaworks, the Ministry of Justice, Pfizer and the University of Auckland.
His major passion in life is improving the performance of organisations by helping their people become more self confident, ambitious, effective, and perhaps most importantly, by helping them ensure they are in the role that’s the best fit for them and for their employer.
Kieran is described by audiences and clients as “awesome, valuable, incredibly encouraging and positive” (Kath Allen, Mediaworks), “enthusiastic, engaging and easy to relate to” (Courtney Hammond, IAG) , “life changing” (Limon Ghosh, Starcom Mediavest Group) and “fantastic, energising speaker” (Sam Standee, Crown institute of Studies).
