AP Day is an event that the Auckland Business Chamber has been honoured to host for more than 15 years.
AP Day is all about celebrating the great work done by the unsung heroes of business – the administrative professionals and customer service and support staff who keep the wheels of business turning.
Once known as Secretary Day, it was established to recognise and celebrate the contributions of administrative personnel to business, to support their personal development and help attract workers to the administrative field.
It has been rebranded to AP Day (Administrative Personnel) to reflect the wider group of workers who deserve to be celebrated for their hard work, determination and commitment to business: Roles such as executive assistants, personal assistants, legal administrators. Administration and office managers, receptionists, call centre operators, front line staff, accounts staff and industry trainers etc.
