ASEAN-Australia-New Zealand FTA Certificate of Origin
Capitalising on ASEAN-Australia-New Zealand Free Trade Agreement (AANZFTA)

The ASEAN-Australia-New Zealand Free Trade Agreement (AANZFTA) entered-into-force on January 1, 2010 for Australia, Brunei, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Singapore, the Philippines, and Viet Nam. AANZFTA came into effect for Thailand on March 12 2010.
The AANZFTA will bring New Zealand exporters trading with these countries substantial benefits.

AANZFTA will enter-into-force for the remaining three ASEAN Member Countries (Cambodia, Indonesia and Lao PDR) 60 days after they provide formal notification of the completion of their internal ratification procedures.
In order to take advantage of preferential access that AANZFTA offers, exporters will require an AANZFTA Certificate of Origin certified by an approved body. The New Zealand Chambers of Commerce have extensive experience with the certification of preferential FTA Certificates of Origin and can provide exporters with the support and resources they need to capitalise on the AANZFTA.
In the first instance the NZ Chamber will provide its AANZ FTA Certificates of Origin service from
- Auckland Regional Chamber of Commerce
- Wellington Regional Chamber of Commerce
- Canterbury Employers’ Chamber of Commerce
- Otago Chamber of Commerce
