Business After Fives, or ba5s, are networking evenings hosted by Chamber member companies. Members use these low-key after five evenings to interactively promote their products and services while networking with Chamber guests.
 
ba5s take place at the host company's premises, and are enthusiastically supported by Chamber members. They provide the perfect opportunity for members to network, socialise, share experiences and make valuable business connections in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Refreshments are served throughout the evening and the host makes a brief presentation about their business.
 
Hosting a ba5 is an ideal way to involve others in your business activities. The Chamber organises and markets the event on your behalf, promoting it online through the Auckland Chamber website and in an e-newsletter. Hosting companies are required to cover the venue and catering costs.

 
Business Club events provide a unique opportunity for business people to connect with other businesses over drinks and nibbles and be inspired by guest speakers, who are New Zealanders chosen for their motivational business success stories. They include entrepreneurs who have faced challenges, overcome adversity and excelled in their commercial endeavours.
 
An early evening format facilitates networking and learning opportunities.
 
Business Club events are complimentary for Chamber members to attend.
 
Business Club events also offer a cost-effective marketing opportunity for small and medium-sized companies to promote their products and services. Additionally, 1.8 metre by 1 metre Table Top Expos can be secured for $150.00 + GST. They are a highly cost-effective method of presenting your product or service to fellow Chamber members in an informal and interactive way. 

 
Regular Chamber luncheons provide an opportunity to renew your entrepreneurial enthusiasm and refresh your commercial verve. Many members use these luncheons as a reward for staff in recognition of professional performance.
 
Luncheons provide a forum for social networking and include topical, informative, relevant and credible guest speakers as well as the most entertaining and enlightening New Zealand personalities.
 
In any one year the Chamber also hosts a variety of breakfasts. These include milestone celebrations such as our Administrative Professionals' Day Breakfast, political briefings, inspirational breakfasts with notable speakers, and CEO breakfasts for corporate leaders, among others.

The Chamber hosts an annual Golf Tournament at the beginning of the year.
 
The venue for these tournaments is Gulf Harbour Country Club. Golf tournaments are popular, team building excursions.
 
An Ambrose tournament makes golf fun for all, with many managers using the day as a reward for diligent employees, a networking opportunity with clients or a morale booster for companies.  

 
Looking for a fun, effective way to meet new customers, contacts and suppliers? The Chamber's favourite networking event has been designed to provide you with the opportunity to promote your business in a relaxed and interactive environment.
 
The Changing Tables format enables you to connect with at least 15 other business people over breakfast, with everyone given two minutes to pitch their products or services to the others seated at their table, in each of the three rounds. Places are strictly limited. 
 

 
Creative Entrepreneur evenings are designed especially for young, innovative, enthusiastic, creative entrepreneurs. Aspiring and accomplished businesspeople socialise over drinks and nibbles while an inspirational speaker shares their classic Kiwi success story.

Creative Entrepreneur speakers demonstrate their ability to think laterally, and overcome obstacles and adversity.

TransformIT helps prepare business people for the challenges companies face in understanding and integrating new technology into existing business plans and strategies.
